South Noctapods are mainly used for farming and hunting. They make amazing guards due to their large eyes and advanced eyesight. These Noctapods are sure to protect your yards without a single thought. They're smaller in Size, but make up for it in astonishing speeds and agility. Noctarion who own this subspecies tend to travel rapidly through difficult and flat Terrain alike. South Noctapods are kept alone or in groups of 2-6 due to their pack-like instincts. These omnivores develop a strong bond to their owners in a short amount of time. Due to their watchful behavior, they're able to oversee a large amount of terrain and even communicate to their owners with ease. Keeping a South Noctapod is rather simple, their dietary needs are composed of leftovers, insects and any cactus they can find.

Prefered location:
They prefer moist and warm climates. Most wild south Noctapods live in jungle/tropical areas. They despise the cold.
Body type:
These Noctapods are the smallest among all subspecies, making them difficult to ride for some people. Their bodies are rarely covered with fur and more often completely scaly. Some of them have feather crowns on the base of their tails. All south Noctapods possess a raptor-like claw.
Unique abilities and features:
South Noctapods are the fastest among all subspecies and the best climbers. They quickly move through difficult terrain while focusing on their prey. They are also very venomous, thanks to consuming poisonous creatures. If their diet changes, they also loose that ability. South Noctapods are a bit “thick headed” and like to play around/play tricks on others. They are still very friendly and make great companions.
Blood:
This subspecies has red blood. If south Noctapods consume a certain kind of food, they become poisonous and their blood, muscles and bones turn lime green. They turn back to red if they haven´t eaten the food in a while.

semi-transparent regular horns. Sometimes a bit spiky and long.
Belly:
Their belly scales are iridescent.

Noctapods if this subspecies can either have standard (Mammal/reptile) tails or thin reptile-like tails with feathers on their base.
